From what we can tell this is the case. A batch of collars seems to have the o-ring groove cut a little too deep. For a quick fix to get up and running, I suggest running the loose ones in the front as the springs are always in contact with the collars, that little bit of pressure will help the collars not move very much during running. I know others have found larger o-rings, double nutted the collar with a plastic one, or happened to have an old collar that they used. For a permanent solution please contact customer service and they'll get you sorted out.
