Honestly the best thing to do is get one and run it first. If something breaks upgrade it as you go. What if you pick up a scx10 or komodo and all the hop up parts and aluminum and decide it sucks ? Or at least it doesn't fit you needs. Watch some vids nd see what guys are doing with them then decide you need a wraith lol get one and go enjoy it. Biggest part of a crawler for me is the repair/mod time. Start modding after you decide it works but yiu need more ...... speed ? Brushless wp system better steering new servo and a bec. Better tires ? Etc.
