i always wondered too what happened. i saw the track last year when i was up in the dells. i still drove on 2009 and 2010 for races but never again after the rumble in 2010.

Going to 1 race a year does not keep a club open. No club, no big race. There's no way around it.
The nearest places to run that I know of are madison and oshkosh.
