FYI, you can't lemon a car when you first buy it and the process is much more complicated than you make it sound. And most of the time you still pay for the time you had it.

If you had an issue and Horizon hasn't made an attmept to replace the product I'd be very surprised.

There are several cars and thing I've seen that break more than they should in the beginning and it takes a few tweaks to get it right. I can say that the first XRAY TC that came out was far from the product it is now. It looked pretty but didn't work. TC3, broke arms, HPI blah blah blah..

Half the problem with the internet is that the few people that have problems blow it out of proportion sometimes.

I'm sorry you had a problem, but I really think that you skipped a few steps in the process. If you're not happy with the product the place you bought it from should be the one you go to. They have more leverage and can get things done better than an irrate customer can.
I don't actually think it is a bind problem, because the transmitter and transciever actually did the bind correctly as the book said. I purchased it from horizon because I had it on backorder as soon as they were taking orders for them. I did call them the monday after and talked to the people there and they said if the product has not been installed, they will take a return, but if it has been installed then I can only send it back from repair. I did run the car before I actually installed it and just running around it was OKbut you know how that goes. I only slowly took it around the entire track at less then 1/4 throttle since the transciver was not mounted, no glitching and no loss of signal. so I descided to install it. Once installed I put it on the track and that is when I notice the problem. I ran one lap at maybe half throttle and it ran ok, so i started to run some practice laps. The transciever seam to loose signal when the car transitioned from high speed straight to high speed sweeper. I was running a digital servo and a keyence esc, so I had a cap installed. and on recommendation of several people I set the failsafe mode to neutral. so the car just coasted. But it happen to be in the middle of a high speed sweeper. Anyways I asked the horizon rep how long that woudl take. He said repair within the week and then shipping. but replacements, we on backorder and not sure when they will have them to ship. But he could not refund my money.

that is where my beef is.

by the way lemoning a car is hard if you don't have the support infrastructure. But I actually worked with the dealer and BMW North America on my problems. You are right it take quite a bit of time, but they make sure you know where you stand on a timely basis. it was nevery "sorry we are working on it." I was more then happy to provide them with what ever they asked for. I even had oils samples analyzed at an independant lab and sent to germany for their engineers to look at. All this at my cost.

The whole issue is not if there is a problem, but how is it going to be taken care of when there is.
