The way this will work is that 1 marshal each race will have the responsibility on working the pit station...so no need for a pit man or crew.

The pits will open after 1 minute into the race and close 1 minute before the end...so we are all racing 8 minute races so the pits open at the 1 minute mark and close at the 7 minute mark. Every racer will be required to make 1 stop per race. When you choose to make the stop is up to you but you have 6 minutes to get it done. The pit stop timer is 10seconds so once your car comes to a complete stop the timer starts and during that time the pit worker/marshal will place a colored sticker on your car and at the end of 10 seconds the car will be released. There will be a working Red and Green light that will be easy to see. When it goes Red your timer starts...when its green your released and the pit is open. If more that 1 car enters the pit at one time only the first car in line will be counted. The second car will have to wait until the first car is done for its own timer to start. So you will need to keep an eye out for when the light goes green so you can enter and be mindful of when other cars are in the pit lane.

The why....is why the heck not...this is a lot of fun and adds another element to the race.
