I think it's a no-go in 17.5, it looks like its an 84 tooth gear so you would need a 60+ tooth pinion to go with it, and there is a limit to how far forward the motor can go.

Also, it looks like a heavy bitch, though the main shaft is titanium it will add significant weight and rotating weight and if my car gets any heavier it will have to re-classify as WGT. I can see this being cool in big pan car, but any class of 1/12? I have my doubts.

We really don't need a gear diff in 1/12 especially 17.5, we don't put a lot of torque on our diffs compared to touring car so our diff slip is basically zero, diffs last a long time, and if you run a thrust bearing as I do you only need to clean your diff out once a race weekend and just re-assemble for nice smooth diff action.
