What are you running?
I run a B6, 17.5 and mod, same esc and motor for both classes, I just turn the esc timing up for mod.
Our track is mostly carpet with sections of very smooth wood (the actual name is escaping me at the moment) strategically placed to keep things interesting. Popular thought is the original Mini-Pin (or Mini-Pin 1) is the tire of choice for that surface.

I run 17.5 buggy with a laydown 22 3.0. There is no mod buggy at any of the tracks near here that I am aware of.
