Its smooth, I wouldn't suggest running a 7.5 venturi as it is too much power as I found out last weekend. Probably go with a 6 or 6.5. The power band feels really linear which I like, almost like my ebuggy. I would go with a 9901 muffler and a 41021 header.
Another Nova Motor probably better suited for a truggy(but has been good in a buggy) is the Bonito 21-7 xlb, You would think a big power motor like this would have a tons of bottom end, but actually is very smooth on the bottom and has a ton of medium to high end power
