1/8 GLADIATOR OFF-ROAD RACE @ 3Stone Park SUNDAY 16-APR-2017
We will be conducting a one day fun race @ 3Stone Park on SUNDAY 16-April-2017. The theme for this race is “Gladiator Race”, but within the boundaries of IFMAR, not sword-wielding, blood splattering, head/buggy banging and crashing into one another.
Additionally, in between Amature heat runs, we will conduct a
2-5 mins mandatory racing tips and Q&A, as preparation before running the heats. This session will be handled by
4 Malaysia Pro Racers who volunteer to share tips/rules/regulations/ethics of RC Racing. Each Pro will take one or 2 sessions in between the Amature heats. You can call this like a tutorials or quick RC Clinic and it is free of charge.
Tips to cover.
i) how to run heat + driving etiquette
ii) how to keep time + pitting techniques
iii) why use a fuel gun
iv) race driving techniques
During Lunch break, Deuthlon will teach Amatures/Newbies how to take apart your car bearings, lube the bearings using Deuthlon Lubes. This session will take about 10+minutes.
Saturday 15-April-201, available committee and volunteer Malaysia Pro racers will be at 3StonePark to provide
technical assistance, technical guidance, checks, advice and what not and it is also Free of Charge.
So, register, enjoy the race as preparation for the future upcoming race in the following months.
