I would get the 5mm tvp, either from alza or flm. As well as a center diff. As far as the motor goes I would get a sensored motor because I think it is smoother than non-sensored. Examples are tekin 1550kv or 1700kv. ESC could be mamba monster x, rx8 or hobbywing sensored. All capable of handling sensored motors. It is a straight forward build really. The mamba monster extreme can handle the 1717 motor, many use that esc with low kv motors. There are many options for sensored low kv motors such as leopard and poseidon also.

Savage Central doesnt work anymore, so can't link up my savage build, but it was built right. Plenty of alza and FLM parts., I mean the tvps are flm that are custom anodized. Full flux bulletproof drivetrain. The build itself is easy, my lst was a conversion, not the crappy Losi one. I don't care if it's sensored or sensorless for bashing, racing yes, but not bashing, especially in a 6s monster truck.
So the center diff is worth it then? I don't want to blow bevel gears like my lst.
Can I use one of my savage x bulletproof diffs with vorza spur? Would you recommend the 1717 over the castle 2200kv? Which kv 1717 would you recommend?
I am leaning towards the alza tvps, I wouldn't touch the stock tvps, bent those before.
