I feel that raising the topdeck increases flex which increases traction and steering. I do it sometimes but not always. I feel like more flex at the topdeck whether it be raising it or going to a 1.6mm topdeck will help actually calm the car down if you're traction rolling on carpet. It seems to smooth it out initially, though it does make more grip in the center of the corner.
So increase overall traction and steering are the main reasons. Now that I know the reason. Can I apply the same theory of another 1mm shims to the upper deck to other cars like Tamiya TRF419x, so as to increase overall traction and steering?
