I'm wondering if I run low timing then boost or turbo ? Will it make much difference? I can either run a skyrc toro 120a which obviously has boost and turbo or run a brushless hobbies 120a which has just timing. Unless a firmware update ads something to the adjustments available. Right now im running a 3656 4000kv non sensored with 0 timing and its pretty smooth but if loaded heavy it'll cog but top end on 2s is nice.
It's not linear and varies depending on a lot of factors. You're not going to get a simple answer like you're looking for. That's why tools like motor analysers exist.
