Thanks for the feedback guys. Obviously it wouldn't be competition legal and i also do a bunch of racing myself. However, i also do a lot of bashing with Truggies. Anything that blows smoke, im in love with. Im pretty sure that the mgt7 center will bolt right onto the chassis of the mbx7tr, but i think the the 2nd gear spur may touch the chassis plate, which is no biggie to fix. Like herrsavage said, just the sound of shifting sounds cool. When running a 2 speed it doesnt take that much power to be fast. My Traxxas Revo only has a o.s 18 tm in it, and that thing fly's. I couldent imagine running a 2 speed in a nice, light, and agile 1/8 truggy. The only negative i can think of is the fact that all 1/8th 2 speed setups i find are all solid spools. obviously running a solid spool wouldent have the ideal handling characteristics, however i think it would still be a blast to drive
