42mm is too long. I have a spare set of these, which I have already tried, but they bind when the shock is compressed (they hit the back of the outdrive, as they are simply too long). That's why I'm looking for something around 40mm...

BTW - I have also tried one of those adjustable shafts, but that doesn't work either - they are too wide because of the sleeve design, a wait for it - they bind with the outdrive...
