I have two Losi 8eight e-buggies using SMC 6500 70C batteries (a few years old but still going strong).

If there is a more convenient connector then I am all for it but I wouldn't want to sacrifice safety of performance. It's basically impossible for my 12yr old son to pull the battery from the buggy. I have to do it...and it's still a pain.
