I'd be interested in a configuration chart that spelled out the weight distribution. Once the motor is in front of the battery and the battery moves way back, what then? The measured distance isn't really useful because of that.
The KC layout 4 and the stock KD layout are going to cover about 90% of the
conditions this car will see.

1 is a handful on almost anything but high grip carpet as it lacks forward bite.

2 is the old Low Grip and with the battery in the back it has a dramatic effect on
the way the rear of the car transfers weight. The car becomes kinda sluggish and lacks
rotation. It is however the easiest layout to drive.

3 looks a lot like the old MM. Personally I think that this layout has potential, but I
think position 4 will have better transition behavior as its closer to the
weight distribution of gear box cars.

A lot of this will also change due to the fact the motor now rotates opposite
direction. In fact the old MM setup had more froward weight bias than the
Low grip but relied on the inertia effect for more forward bite.
