Not sure If I should put them outside in the garage (27 degrees ) or throw them away lol because I def dont want it to blow. Also I was told to charge the battery fully after use I now see this is not correct. When I bought the battery I bought a Radient Ascend charger but I don't see a "discharge feature" like recommended for storage. Any insight would be very appreciated.
The most rudimentary way to discharge a battery partially is to just run it in your car or truck and check the voltage every now and again until you get around 7.2v That would be the voltage you want to store your 2s lipo batteries until you're ready to drive on a fully charged battery
Lipo safe bags while nice to have, are not entirely necessary because it's usually pretty easy to tell when a lipo is going bad. It'll either puff up or one of the cells won't balance out. And when that happens then it's time to dispose of them. So I doubt you need to throw your lipos away. Just take the time to understand the storage and safety aspect. Storing them you want a cool dry place around room temperature. Always balance charge them. No exceptions.
