It's everything the old one is, just smaller and lighter. If you are just running 17.5 or 13.5 blinky, you may want to consider the XR10 1S Stock Spec too. It's silly light compared to the 3.1 and runs $80 less than the Pro.
Will be also running mod with the car. Was told by someone that switched over that the xr10 gave them more bottom end punch but didn't see it for myself.
