Hello,

We were running the proline shockwave pre-mounts from proline. As far as electronics we were using the Tekin RX8 Gen2 with the 2250KV motor and a 15 tooth pinion. The 2200KV with the castle Mamba Monster or Mamba X is also a great choice and should also be ran on a 15-16 tooth pinion. Servo is up to you but I would want something with above 300oz @ 7.4v with a speed of under .15 @ 7.4v. We used a 4s lipo battery to power our kits in the video as well.

Hope this helps!

I think the proline shockwaves are these:

Proline Shockwave 3.8" Mounted (#1193-13) with dimensions of

6" (152mm) tall x 3.35" (85mm) wide

The description says they are lighter weight. I couldn't find if they were a medium compound. I'm assuming they are.

This should be a link to them if anyone wants to check them out.

i'm surprised they used such small tires, only 6.00in/152mm diameter, and the shockwaves have shallow tread. but i'm sure that's why they are considered lighter weight - they are small for 3.8 MT tires.

I say utilize the travel we have and mount up some MAN TIRES. mx38's or trenchers, mashers, etc!
