Unfortunately, there's a lot of fake stuff out there.
I know nothing of the electric cars but I did come across an interesting FB discussion talking about imitation Castle stuff and how to tell the difference by looking at how the wording is written on the wires and some other little detail I forget what is was.
There's some fake Sanwa stuff going around now that's obvious because of the ridiculous too good to be true low prices.
Most of the best names of anything are going to have fakes.
