Bruce, that TP compound is actually Mighty Gripper yellow compound. It works good for norcal. I've heard the rumors of it eating tires but honestly, as long as you wipe down the tires after your run with Tuning Haus tire cleaner or Protoform body cleaner (same stuff), it will keep the tires feeling fresh and soft. Norcal has really inconsistent traction also during the day.
Thanks for the reply. Car was really good in the mains, but I wasn't sure if it was because I changed traction compound or because they resprayed. What ever it was, it was a big improvement over the qualifiers.
I guess next time I'll have to stick with one compound, at least for the 1st main.
