So with some .4 stuff popping up, what does everyone do with their old models? I know and sell before the new one releases, some just slowly buy the upgrade parts, etc.. Speaking as a racer, not a Tekno representative, you shouldn't be in a rush to unload your proven car. You have to determine what it's worth, both to the buyer and,more importantly, to you.
I know that as a team driver, I'll get the new car. But when I look at the market and see the old car is selling for 150 bucks (just making up a number), I'll keep my old car.
To me 150.00 doesn't make up for the piece of mind knowing that if anything ever happened at a race that I could grab my old car, toss it down, and run it. It's kind of like an insurance policy that I already paid for.
Speaking as a Tekno Representative, you should definitely grab all of the updated parts. They make a huge difference in the car's performance. IF we release a new platform, you can be sure that it will be a significant improvement over the old one.
