A guy at our track has broken 3 of the steering racks in the same place as yourself. I think if you overtighten the screw it may serve to weaken this part.
Now you can get an aluminum steering rack, rc-mushroom has them in their online catalog.
My TC4 saw its last race in my hands tonight... ran great all night though I am not the fastest guy at the track, I was one of the only guys to not break anything, and finish every heat and the main. Why its last race... well I couldn't stop myself when I saw an FK'05 on the shelf at the track today...
The TC4 treated me decent for my first TC, now its time to check out what all the Xray hoopla is about.
