Hi guys, I see shimming up the motor mount would also require shimming up a chassis brace, which might not be the route I would want to go - so can anyone comment on whether there is enough space between spur and chassis to accommodate bigger 45T (requires only .5 mm more space) or 48T (1.5mm more) spurs, please?
For anyone interested, I made some first thoughts initial gearing chart; I used the 40/9 diff ratio from manual (website says 40/10, but probably typo):
I'll probably end up choosing a motor somewhere in the ~1600kv range and Badland 3.8 size (~150 mm) kinda tires, but also included 1. the whopping 176 mm diameter Badlands MX38 to get an impression of the impact and 2. a 1800kv motor for reference. I don't intend to buy new batteries for this, hence the 6-8S - and 4S is for minis anyway

.
With the ~150mm tires, I think I'd get away with running ~1600 kv with 13/44 gearing, even on 8S for occasional berserko mode, but to be honest, I have no clue about gearing for MT stuff

. So what do you guys think would be a good starting point gearing-wise, something 40-45 mph (no-load wheel-speed) for standard use?
Thanks!
