With some ESC programming and a gearing change i don't see why you couldn't. Not sure why you would want to other than you don't have 4S or 6S packs. If you have 4S and there is a thought of it is too fast, then depending on your radio just turn down the throttle a little bit till you get used to it.
I have 3S packs already. I know I can run 2 packs for 6S but would be nice to be able to run a single 3S pack some of the time.
