Greene/2x Blu seems like a combination that won't give enough front grip. I could see the following combos working better for you:
Blu/2x Blu
Blu/Blu
Greene/Blu<-- This was always my preference before we spec'd purple stripes.
As Scirocco pointed out, we have figured out minor tweaks to get our purple stripe tires to hookup very well on the old gray carpet. The only real tweaks I made to my CRC XTi WC were to soften the front springs to .45mm from .50mm and went to the stiffest rear spring and bump the oil to 35 weight. I also run my front and rear tire diameters the same and run an even ride height front to rear.
