From TQ hobbies the Amani strips are only like 2 bucks. And they work great. You'll only need one per car. I've tried other stuff and nothing works as well. Even if you found the same material on a spool, you will pay way more for the spool that you will never likely use than just a couple strips from Yokomo or Tamiya.
