Don't worry too much about upgrades from day 1. Also depends what motor you're running and what surface you're running on too. Silver can on asphalt probably no upgrades are "must haves". Mine has only the servo mount, motor posts and sway bars and a 53440 spring set and it's getting there slowly by adjusting spring rates and damper positioning.
Ya, I have ran it a few weeks bone stock on asphalt but everyone at the track suggested running 2.5 mil diff oil in the front. I figured if that's the case, might as well get the spool.
