The Associated TC4 is quite popular and is very affordable for these classes. RTR kits are likely not going to come with the right electronics (ESC/motor) for the class, so they're probably going to be of dubious value. Alternatively you could pick up some high end second hand chassis for a decent price as many people like to upgrade to the next new thing fairly frequently.
