The car had a bunch of shims on the axle but to be honest I'm not sure they were in the right spot either. I got i back together and do plan on getting a thrust bearing at some point. The way i have it now looking from the back and going left to right is this. Left wheel hub, wide red spacer, narrow red spacer, left pod mount, right pod mound 2 shims, right wheel hub, 2 shims, silver spacer with the lip toward the bearing, cone washer, nut. The diff feels like absolute crap but it felt bad before i started as well. The silver spacer is 3mm
