That is a negative. $300 for the Evo from rc mart, no need to convert to the exo to be competative. But even then conversion kit was only $140. So $440 for a kit that includes things like DCJ's, amd other upgrade parts not included on an Xray. I realize the 16 and 17 include DCJ's, but they run $550 or more). Another great alternative are the VBC line if cars. From the low end Ghost and Ghost RM, to the top of the line D08, VBC is easily on par with other top tier manufacturers and lower cost.


I wasn't trying to knock the her end manufacturers, they make great cars, however I juat want to emphasize to those getting into the hobby, that you don't have to have one I'm order to compete. There are very viable alternatives despite the deafening roar to the contrary from fanboys.
