1. If you want more steering than use a gear diff in front. Otherwise the spool will work. Yes it is the same gear diff as the rear.
2. If I remember correctly there are special outdrives that go with the gear diff when you use it in the front. Not sure what the part # is.
3. If you need more support then glue them for sure, because they will work their way out. I took mine out and left them out.
4. I would definitely get the aluminum servo mounts. The other plastic ones strip out.
5. If you can upgrade to the V2 parts, then do so.
