Looking to get back to racing after a long time away. I have seen a few deals on a used RB6 and I'm wondering with the minor adjustments the 6.6 introduced, is the 6.6 worth the extra investment?

The B6d was initially what I thought I would be getting, but the Japanese design and manufacturing are pushing me towards an RB6 or RB6.6.

Surely the Kyosho guys won't tell me to buy Associated, or maybe they will?

I'd love to hear what you have to say.

PS. I am going to visit my local track soon (TRCR - Washington), if they don't offer much support for the RB6, then unfortunately the contest is over...
The car is only a minor upgrade in the grand scheme. It fixes some needed items, however I think buying the used RB6 and adding the 6.6 parts is smarter. I have the 6.6 and 2 2015 cars, and besides the chassis and side pods everything else is the same at its base. The laydown tranny does require two extra holes that the previous chassis' don't have but if you aren't planning to run laydown, grab the new rear bulkhead and the 3 gear box and you're set. Just my 2 cents.
