Done business with gearbest on a few nick-nacks (nothing electronic) before so my risk of having to deal with customer service was minimal - but considering this I don't know why I would continue to do business with them. Yeah they didn't get the response they wanted from this thread but to then go silent on this issue is what's really disappointing.
Should be an added thread in the seller disputes section! Joking

banggood has been awesome to deal with. Had a issue with a Radiolink radio and after some email exchanges they sent a new one and let me keep the old (which didn't work other then for parts and a spare reciever).
Hobbyking has been awesome as well for me to (minor issue resolved quickly).
