Until every group decides to run on 1 set of rules regarding fixed timing motors, non adjustable ESCs, limiting charging amps and running treaded spec tires there will be people complaining. Personally I would like to see a set of rules written like VTA that peoplea around the country could adopt in the interest of reducing costs and increasing competitive racing. Some people like myself would have some initial expense to change over but I believe the end result would make the class more attractive for beginners and expert drivers.
I think the current rules are pretty easy to follow and there is no need for changing to a spec motor. And like any form of racing, the fast guys will always be fast and the rest will question why.
