I did try simply putting the actual 22-4 front tires on my 22 3.0 and they tamed steering down. I guess this may not be legal to race with.
I run front 22-4 wheels and holeshots 4wd tires at our outdoor track and they are great, i had to turn down the epa a little from one side so it does not rub at the arm, like 5-10 points of epa.
From what i could find the only rule is 250mm total width of the car...i have not measure my car yet...
