It can yes. Both ESC's have the sensor tester function so simply swapping them out to assure it's indeed the Gen2 RS would be ideal.
We get in a lot of service sent to us that in the end isn't the ESC at all. I'm just trying to help prevent that from occurring here.
Appreciate the assistance but I don't think we are on the same page.
I had trouble with the RS gen2 and ONLY swapped out the ESC. I left the sensor wire, cap, motor and all wiring that was connected to the GEn2 in the car and it worked perfect with the old RSGen1.
So how can it NOT be an issue with the RS Gen2? If I put the Gen2 back in and the sensor test failed then why does the old RS work fine?
