Well, for me I havent done a lot of racing for 2 reasons. One, I live 4 hours away from 5280 and Hobbytown is even further and my poor truck isnt getting any younger. I did race the MHIC and I plan to do so again next year because it was super fun and the people there just plain rock. Second, I have been spending most of my disposable income on my Italian mistress motorcycle (Ducati) and she isnt cheap or easy. Hopefully early next year I will be out of this area and somewhere more conducive to racing. As for younger kids getting into it, its expensive (VTA was supposed to help with this) and it requires actual effort to work on set up and practice, sometimes outdoors. They'd rather play xbox.
