Last weekend it was time to replace the rod, with some fresh R7's in my stock I placed a R7 rod.

The R4 rod had about 5.5 liter use with a no hard break in because my heated oil bath break in bench.
Also a pic of the piston after the 5.5 liter, last weekend driven a lot, is now at almost 8 liter of use and still a lot of pinch. I must admit I pre-heat my engine always befor the start. I use Runnertime top16 fuel.

James told me the engine needs to be at least 130 degrees to come alive and indeed @ 135-140 degrees celcius the engine is running at its best. together with a leaner setting on the LSN I managed to run 4:50 easy with still a drop in the tank. 5:00 is possibe but no 5:20 if I run a long heat.
