I tried out the 3 gear trans last weekend in my mod truck and I have to say I like it!!! I could swear I had better traction coming out of the corners and overall the truck seemed like I could drive it a little harder. This is with a 7.0 Fantom on an old school dirt track, plenty of traction though with step pins. I like it so much I'm going to try it in my stock (13.5) truck at the next race. Looking forward to trying one in my indoor (carpet) truck too.
