I just picked up an mtx3 last 2 weeks ago. I ran the stock gearing rations for the standard kit, last week. Not enough for the large track I run at. This week I went to the .08 gears and ran the stock gearing for the prospec. Alot better. Can the car handle a 7 tooth differance in gearing? I was going to try 21/28 and 52/59. Guess I am used to the exceleration of my tc3, so I really do not want to go higher on 1st gear.
I have been driving an ntc3 since the car first came out. In my second time out with the mtx3, I probably was as hooked as I ever felt with the ntc3.
We run 21/27 or 21/28 depending on the grip levels. Car should have no problem if the engine is capable of pulling it.
