I do like a battery forward position on a regular/old/2012 rb6 in 4 gear mid motor... Car seems the best balanced... With a normal shorty, I'll still get quite a bit of on power push, out of corners.
The guys at my track think stuff is missing. With low profile servos, tiny or combo Rxs and wire hiding channels there is no help for the uninformed. I am a lonely K car in a sea of Losi and TA racers. I hope some will come back for the 6.6. The first time I was accused of cheating I knew I was getting faster
Motor, ESC and battery from back to front has been good for me.
