Hi Cristian, been waiting for someone to do a 2mm chassis for the 16 car I take it this generates more traction in low grip conditions same as Yokomo's new one does?
The reports from our lead testing drivers was the the car made more grip and had better steering. Most of the testing was done on Parking lot tracks with medlium low to medium high grip. A lot of it has to do with the revised shape. We also have an alloy chassis with the same shape coming which was I think 3 tenths faster per lap at MHIC over our old design. Sounds crazy, but it has a lot to do with how we isolated the flex points to in front and behind the bulkheads. When used with top deck stiffeners and thicker towers, it seemed like the car carried more corner speed. When running softer chassis it seems like the cars are a little bit slower in transition and the extra deflection seems to reduce the amount of force the tire digs into the surface with.
