Yep, he is a really nice guy. I pitted next to the Morotech folks at Worlds in 2014. I was most impressed by two things that Hideo had:

1. He had a special power supply and 1/12 pod with a motor already installed (but no axle) that he specifically used for breaking in diffs. He would completely rebuild his diff after every run.

2. He had a touring car hauler bag, but the boxes for it were the depth of a pizza box and there were like 20 of them in the hauler. Each one was full of 1/12 tires - every compound imaginable, uncut.
