Anyway IFMAR will stay at open mod. I like to believe that this step will bring more people
to run 1/12 mod, but on the other hand why these people not running now the 6.5 motors in 1/12 mod?

A tested, tuned 6.5 turn open ESC setup would still be screaming fast, so fast that I would argue it would fall under the statement "beyond the capabilities of all but the very elite to be able to control and race." Add to that how all of the sudden your ESC choice, software choice, motor, battery, and all of the other factors that you don't worry about become relevant to modified racing again, instead of picking a color and go.
