I loved the old days of gearing for time but, to do that now days would be a death nail for 1/12th.

Most 1s batteries sold today are 7000 to 8000 mah rated. A required 4200 to 4400 mah battery for one class only wouldn't go over well with racers or manufactures .

A gear for time race would create a battery war, battery of the week, cheating . It's just not worth it.

I don't miss the need for 5 awesome, fresh, battery packs for a race day or the need to rebuild your motor every run.
