R/C Drag Racing - what's the perfect platform?
Just recently, I've wanted to get into drag racing. I have a close friend that has the Traxxas drag tree and races every weekend. It is my understanding that the scale drag track is 132' long.
With that being said, I would like to get as much information as possible. Any suggestions, input and help would be great appreciated.
Every weekend, a variety of cars come to the track. Some of them are highly modified Traxxas Rustiers, Ofna GTP's, short course trucks, etc. So when I think about starting a build, I'm overwhelmed with options.
Here are my initial questions;
Do I want a 2wd or 4wd platform?
Are the RJ Speed/Bolink funny cars or dragster good options, or just a waste of time?
Any suggestions on a good model to start with?
I'm sure I will have more questions, but these are the ones that are nagging me the most.
