There's
always a new model coming, guaranteed. It most certainly won't come before the summer, so you'd be waiting all summer & not driving it, and since it isn't an expensive kit to get & drive by far (F1 is quite a cheap class) compared to other classes, just get it and enjoy it. You won't enjoy it less when a new model is released, and there are always people looking for the older model if you want to get a rid of it and get the new one upon release.
