Many racers I have come across have had positive experiences with Blitz RS1.
If you are looking for something that is easy to cut and mount, I would recommend Tamiya bodies, like the new Miata.
My body of choice for the past couple years has been the Ride Subaru BRZ. Very easy to cut/mount.
