Just finishing up the Break-In Fuel quart today of the Bones Brew through my Elite 8 engine. This fuel just putting it in and starting was much more behaved over the Sidewinder fuel I wanted to use up from at the end of last season on this engine and likely buy more Sidewinder. It was having a spazz attack on the starter box like if there was an air leak or something, so it was stored as I intended to switch fuels to something you see more raved about. Engine is progressing nicely in the parking lot with the heat cycle method and this stuff. Made no changes to the needles or anything.
Anyways below you see a pic of my JP-2 Jammin hard anodized pipe and I also have the more bottom end JP-1. Any idea if these will be good enough or should I run the appropriate Nova pipe and headers?
I like the non-stick of the hard anodize for the dirt and muck, and if getting the Nova pipes is best has anyone right away brought their polished aluminum pipes down to the local quality anodizer for this treatment? I wonder if performance could get affected? I don’t really think it could but anyone have an idea?
